North Central Texas Online Visitors, Relocation and Residents Guide

A comprehensive guide for the North Central Texas Region

After providing services to a number of organizations in the North Central Texas region, Powers Communication has combined our skills to produce the first and only online guide for the area. After extensive research we have found similar concepts for other areas in Texas, but nothing for visitors and residents of our beautiful and popular North Central Texas region.

North Central Texas Region

The following area has been identified as the NCTX region. This area spans from DFW to the Hill Country. Lampasas is the only potential overlap, the other counties are not identified on any other ‘area portal’ site.

See map of region

Project Structure

The Powers Communication web design team will do all the research for the areas identified above and will provide useful links on the site such as:

  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Convention, Visitor Bureau
  • Governmental
  • School and other non-profit

Our Customer Care team will provide:

  • All customer inquiries
  • Editing and updating customer information
  • Website design coordination
  • Relationship management
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Advertising Sales

We are currently looking for independent Account Managers in these local areas to complete our sales force team. All sales will be purely commission based and should only require one meeting call and one face to face sales call. For most owner/operator businesses this would only take one visit to their business.

 Experience Necessary

We are looking for individuals in YOUR area to join our team. To qualify, you must be a very well networked, motivated, professional sales person. Ideally you will have several contacts in the area and be well established. You must also have TIME to commit to the project. In the first few months, depending on the size of your territory, you will be extremely busy.

Commission

Powers Communication will offer a $20 commission on each subscription  and a $50 flat rate for each web site sold. Your earnings are entirely up to you, if you are good time manager and well connected in the community, you should easily be able to wrap up a sale in 15 minutes.

Process

Each week you make sales calls using the rack card provided by Powers Communication. Each Friday you will send, using US Priority Mail envelope ($4.25), the following information for each customer to the home office:

Account Manager Checklist

  • Completed Sign Up Card
  • Customer Business Card
  • Payment
  • Additional Comments
  • Your completed invoice for the pay period must be sent in the package.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager needs to make sure the customer knows the process:

  1. All information is sent to home office on Friday.
  2. Home office will ensure website is updated within 1 week of receipt of information.
  3. A home office Customer Care representative will liaise with the customer.

Home office will send checks on Friday for the prior week’s invoice. If a check is rejected by the bank for NSF, and we are unable to resolve the issue, the commission amount will be deducted from the invoice payment.

No bartering or price manipulation will be used on this project as the prices are more than reasonable for any organization.

Tips

Use your personal contacts and their contacts in similar industries. Churches and non-profits will benefit greatly from this, they are sometimes difficult to reach, but worth the effort. Make calls to set appointments, sell in person.
